Juniata County Food Pantry, the Kiwanis Club of Juniata County & the Boy Scouts are joining forces to bring Thanksgiving meals to Juniata County families in need. All the groceries to make up a Thanksgiving dinner will be handed out on Saturday Nov 17 between 2-4pm, at the CJEMS Building/Senior Center in Mifflintown. To qualify for the meal distribution families must be residents of Juniata County and present an ACCESS card, a 'statement of need' signed by a pastor, or be current clients of the Juniata County Food Pantry.
If you would like to help provide holiday meals, they are seeking the following donations: Turkeys, cranberry sauce, stuffing, canned fruits/veggies, canned sweet potatoes, gravy mix packets, and dessert mixes. Monetary/gift card donations are also appreciated.
